Intradermabrasion

Intradermabrasion is also known as skin needling or MCA, Multitrepannic Collagen Actuation. Results of the procedure are similar to laser, chemical peels and dermabrasion. However the epidermal layer is left intact with less damage. With healthier skin and blood vessels intact the promotion of collagen deposits increases. The skin dose not thin as it can with the other methods so frequent ongoing treatments are possible. The Procedure The procedure is performed with a digital micropigmentation machine.  Multiple shallow puncture wounds are made through the epidermal layer and into the dermal layer where collagen is restranded and elastin is produced. The dermal insult induces the release of growth factors that stimulate the production of more collagen and elastin. This is the desired outcome of all skin resurfacing and rejuvenation techniques.  And again, because the epidermal layer is left intact the healing time is rapid, not so with the other above procedures. The skin will not experience sun sensitivity, hypo or hyperpigmentation, or thinning of the skin. Stretch Marks and Scars! Intradermabrasion can soften the skins texture and will give more flexibility to the fibrous bands for a more blended and natural appearance. Needling is being utilized by plastic surgeons in the USA, Europe, Canada, and South Africa. Acne Scars This treatment is ideal and many acne support groups highly recommend the procedure!! Hypopigmentation? Yes is has effectively treated areas where melanin production has stopped. Stimulation of the dermal and epidermal layer where pigment is produced may yield normal skin tone. Post Treatment The skin treated will be puffy and red for a few days. Usually 5 to 7 days. A light crust covering the immediate area may also be noted. If desired a light cover-up may be utilized after day one to conceal redness. Immediate improvement is noted upon healing, however the collagen continues to restrand over the next few months. Treatment Protocols Fine lines and wrinkles may need only one treatment Deeper wrinkles may need 2 treatments 3-5 months apart Severe wrinkles may need 3 or more 3-5 apart Maintenance treatment 1 per year (we don't stop the clock) Acne treatments 1-2 treatments 3-5 months apart Stretch marks 1-2 treatments 3-5 months apart. Because the treatment is safe and actually improves the skins texture it can be performed repeatedly. This is the only technique that can do that.  Affordable pricing upon consultation!!
