Permanent Cosmetics also known as micropigmentation, cosmetic tattooing, or simply permanent makeup are all forms of implanting iron oxide pigments within the dermal layer to create soft subtle color to eyebrows, eyeliner, eyelids, and lips.

Colorboost Application Permanent makeup will fade over the course of years. Some sooner than others depending on the amount of UV rays to the pigmented area, application of professional peels containing alpha hydroxy, use of anti-aging skin products, and just the natural breakdown of these iron oxide compounds. Not to worry!! As just anything we do to improve our outward appearance we need to maintain our permanent makeup as well. The lighter the pigment e.g.; blonde eyebrows may need a color boost approximately every year. Darker brows less frequent. We can expect our eyeliner to have less color deterioration due to the fact we protect our eyes with UV glasses, not using harmful products around our eyes and it is usually a darker pigment that we choose to define our eyes. Eat, Sleep and Drink Permanent Makeup!! Your instructor, Stephanie Holvick, RN has been training and preparing medical professionals since 2004. This is a lucrative field, however proper training and practice are the keys to a successful business. This fundamental training course is available to medical professionals. If you are a registered nurse, nurse practioner, physician's assistant, or work directly under a supervising physician classes are offered in our facility or yours. If you choose to come to us, we here at RN FACES will provide you with cozy accomadations in the La Plaza bed and breakfast in Walsenburg CO. Classes begin early and finish later in the evening. Frequent breaks are essential. No more than 2 students will attend a training to maximize hands on experience. Models are provided at my facility. Truly, all you need to bring is your enthusiasm! You will leave RN FACES with the confidence to do the procedures, your equipment and supplies, training manuals, DVD's a portfolio of before and after pictures and you own permanet makeup if you desire.
